Our Akshara Phonics programme helps children understand how sounds work, blend sounds into words, read confidently and develop strong reading foundations.
What we do
Listen & Learn
Children listen to correct phonics sounds and practise identifying and producing them.
Blend & Read
Children learn to blend individual sounds and build words step by step.
Read & Speak
Children practise words, sentences and age-appropriate passages while building reading and speaking confidence.
Daily Practice
Children practise regularly between their weekend classes using the Akshara Learning application.

Weekend class
The teacher introduces and teaches the phonics concept.
Weekday practice
Children practise for approximately 15 minutes each day using the Akshara Learning application.
Next weekend
The teacher reviews the child's learning and introduces the next lesson.
This cycle repeats every week.
